520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | The notion of social pathology of communication is approached here in connection with the concept of recognition, as it is developed by philosopher and sociologist Axel Honneth, within the framework of communication in organizations. But beyond the relationship between communication and contempt – through which the pathological aspect emerges – the relationship is explored from a problematic point of view, through the undecidability of the ethical value of recognition. This article will focus on the political aspects of recognition understood as an act of communication. Understanding that concept seems to be central to the understanding of the process through which forms of domination appear, connected with the identity quest and the craving for self-fulfilment. |
