| Summary, etc. | La question au centre de ces « Échanges » est celle du contraste entre l’abondance des publications et débats autour de la problématique du Genre et la discrétion des sciences de l’information et de la communication en la matière. Pour en comprendre l’origine et les ressorts, Marlène Coulomb-Gully met en discussion un texte dans lequel elle étudie la discipline au regard du cadre académique et social dans lequel elle s’inscrit. À sa suite, plusieurs chercheuses lui répondent : quatre conduisent des recherches dans le champ des médias – Marie- Joseph Bertini, Béatrice Damian-Gaillard, Cégolène Frisque et Eugénie Saitta –, deux au sein des études littéraire– Catherine Gravet et Marie-ÈveThérenty –, une est historienne, Françoise Thébaud. Convaincues que la recherche en ce domaine doit s’accompagner d’une démarche volontariste, toutes tentent d’élucider les raisons du retard constaté et le profit qu’il y a pour les sciences humaines et sociales à le combler. |

To understand the origin and causes, Marlène Coulomb-Gully studies how the discipline takes place in an academic and social context. Several researchers answered, four come from the field of media – Marie-Joseph Bertini, Béatrice Damian-Gaillard, Cégolène Frisque and Eugénie Saitta –, two within literary studies – Gravet Catherine and Marie-Ève Thérenty – one is a historian, Françoise Thébaud. Convinced that research in this area must be accompanied by a proactive approach, all seek to elucidate the reasons for the delay and the benefit for the humanities and social sciences to catching. |
