| Summary, etc. | La pérennité constitue une préoccupation légitime de toute organisation. L’Association Sportive Universitaire Lyonnaise (ASUL) connaît une phase de restructuration destinée à renforcer sa professionnalisation, maîtriser sa croissance et intégrer de nombreux changements (diversification, déménagement, etc.). Face à ce constat, l’ambidextrie, forme de design organisationnel et habileté particulière dont il faudrait doter les organisations, consiste à trouver un équilibre entre exploitation et exploration. En s’appuyant sur le cas de cette association sportive en développement, nous tenterons de démontrer que le renforcement de la capacité d’une organisation à devenir ambidextre, notamment sous sa forme contextuelle, s’avère déterminante pour réduire les risques et ainsi favoriser sa pérennité |

| Summary, etc. | Ambidexterity and organizational sustainability: the case of ASUL, a growing sports associationSustainability is a legitimate concern of any organization. The Association Sportive Universitaire Lyonnaise (ASUL) is experiencing a restructuring phase designed to reinforce its professionalization, control its growth and integrate many changes (diversification, moving, etc.). Faced with this observation, ambidexterity, a form of organizational design and the particular skill that organizations should have, consists in finding a balance between exploitation and exploration. Based on the case of this sports association in development, we will try to demonstrate that the strengthening of an organization’s ability to become ambidextrous, especially in its contextual form, is decisive for reducing risks and thus favoring its durability. |
