| Summary, etc. | Le processus migratoire, par la perte de l’étayage familial, communautaire et culturel, provoque une solitude et une acculturation qui constituent des facteurs de risque pour la parentalité et des facteurs de vulnérabilité pour le développement de l’enfant. Dans cet article, nous présentons un groupe thérapeutique réunissant des mères de cultures différentes avec leur enfant d’âge préscolaire. Ce dispositif, qui met en œuvre un double processus thérapeutique, offre un espace contenant et stimule, par divers étayages simultanés et croisés, une évolution favorable du lien mère-enfant. Les mères et les enfants, dans leur sous-groupe respectif, évoluent de manière parallèle, puis en interaction les uns avec les autres. |

| Summary, etc. | The loss of family, communty and cultural support during migration provokes solitude and acculturation that are factors of risk for parenting adding vulnerability to the child’s development. In this paper, we present a group therapy bringing together mothers from different cultures with their preschool children. This setting brings about a double therapeutic process. It offers a containing environment through various simultaneous interwoven support systems that enhances mother-child bonding. Mothers and children in their respective subgroups evolve concurrently, then in interaction with one another. |
