520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | On March 17th, 2020, the entire French population found itself confined to cope with the Covid-19 epidemic. As part of business continuity plans, companies organize a form of forced, full-time telework for their employees. This unprecedented situation is a form of unstructured telework that questions the influence of the tools, practices and information processes put in place by the HR services on the evolution of the managerial relationship of teleworkers during periods of confinement. The empirical part is based on a quantitative study carried out during confinement between April 15th and May 11th (169 answers). The results reveal that a lack of tools, practices and information processes could permanently modify the managerial relationship. The more widespread deployment of appropriate information by HR services would help develop employee confidence and a positive perception of telework and managerial relationships. Information should also be targeted according to the employee’s degree of maturity with regard to telework. |
