| Summary, etc. | Over the last thirty years, the notions of geneticization and biosociality have become central in anthropological and sociological studies of genetics. Although they refer to very different, even opposing, visions, these two notions were forged on the basis of a common idea, now being called into question, according to which genetics has acquired a central place in society. Adjustments need to be made if these notions are to remain relevant, providing an opportunity to move beyond their opposing views and find ways in which they can complement each other. |

| Summary, etc. | Depuis une trentaine d’années, les notions de génétisation et de biosocialité se sont imposées dans les travaux anthropologiques et sociologiques s’intéressant à la génétique. Bien qu’elles renvoient à des visions très différentes, voire opposées, ces deux notions ont été forgées sur une idée commune, aujourd’hui remise en question, d’après laquelle la génétique aurait acquis une place centrale dans la société. Des ajustements doivent être engagés pour que ces notions restent pertinentes, ce qui fournit l’occasion de dépasser leurs oppositions, et de leur trouver des complémentarités. |
