| Summary, etc. | For about ten years, many archaeological operations led in Normandy have been focused on WWII remains. The study of sites such as the one of the Atlantikwall, the prisoners of war camps or the battlefields around Caen, resulted in the formulation of specific research themes and questions. The results are numerous and enrich our knowledge of these events and this heritage, nowadays widely threatened by the coastline erosion and the urbanisation. |

| Summary, etc. | Depuis une dizaine d’années, de nombreuses opérations archéologiques menées en Normandie se sont intéressées aux vestiges de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. L’étude de sites tels que ceux du Mur de l’Atlantique, les camps de prisonniers de guerre ou bien les théâtres d’affrontement autour de Caen, a abouti à la mise en place de problématiques et de thématiques de recherche ciblées. Les résultats sont nombreux et viennent enrichir nos connaissances de ces événements et de ce patrimoine aujourd’hui largement menacé par les phénomènes d’érosion du littoral et d’urbanisation. |
