| Summary, etc. | Embarking on the new field of World War II heritage in Normandy is a real challenge, given the sheer number of archaeological sites and « dossiers » to be dealt with, archaeology being just one of the disciplines involved. Over the last fifteen years or so, the work carried out in Normandy has enabled us to measure the implications of such an investment, particularly in terms of work time and the new questions to be addressed. |
