| Summary, etc. | RéSUMéAujourd’hui, les objets se voient attribuer un rôle important dans l’analyse des dynamiques sociales, notamment au travers des mécanismes de coordination entre les acteurs humains. Le concept d’objet-frontière a, pour sa part, permis d’enrichir l’approche de l’innovation. Cet article vise à illustrer le rôle des objets-frontière dans le découpage temporel et social d’une innovation de service. Une enquête de type ethnographique a été menée dans un laboratoire de recherche afin d’analyser le processus de partage et de diffusion d’un outil de diagnostic du stress et de l’expertise qui lui est associée. Ce cas permet de montrer le rôle des objets-frontière d’une part dans la réduction de l’incertitude inhérente à tout processus innovant (découpage temporel) et, d’autre part, dans la définition d’un service innovant (découpage social). |

| Summary, etc. | BOUNDARY OBJECTS AND INNOVATIVE SERVICE.Today, an important role is attributed to objects in the analysis of social dynamics, in particular where the mechanism of coordination between human beings is concerned. The concept of boundary objects has made it possible to develop the approach to innovation. This article aims to illustrate the role of boundary objects in the social and temporal repartition of an innovating service. An ethnographic study was conducted by a research department to evaluate the distribution and transmission process of a tool for stress diagnosis and the expertise associated with it. This study demonstrates the boundary object’s role in reducing the uncertainty inherent to all innovating processes (temporal repartition) as well as its role in the definition of an innovating service (social repartition). |

| Summary, etc. | OBJETOS FRONTERA E INNOVACIóN DEL SERVICIO.Hoy en día se atribuye a los objetos un papel importante en el análisis de las dinámicas sociales, sobre todo a través de mecanismos de coordinación entre actores humanos. El concepto de objeto frontera permite, por su parte, enriquecer el enfoque de la innovación. Este artículo sirve de ilustración del papel de los objetos frontera en la fragmentación temporal y social de una innovación del servicio. Se ha llevado a cabo una encuesta de tipo etnográfico en un laboratorio de investigación con objeto de analizar el proceso de compartir y difundir una herramienta de diagnóstico del estrés y el conocimiento especializado asociado. Este caso permite mostrar la función de los objetos frontera, en cuanto a la reducción de la incertidumbre inherente a todo proceso innovador (fragmentación temporal), por un lado, y en cuanto a la definición de un servicio innovador (fragmentación social), por otro. |
