| Summary, etc. | L’article interroge tout d’abord les notions qui concurrencent celle de « forme scolaire » dans le champ des didactiques disciplinaires, qui se sont davantage construites autour du concept de « discipline ». Il examine ensuite comment les didacticiens articulent – ou pas – « forme scolaire » et « discipline », avant de travailler plus particulièrement deux autres concepts, la « scolarisation » et la « culture scolaire », en tant qu’ils permettent de penser autrement la « forme école ». Là où la notion de « forme » renvoie plutôt à une configuration – pédagogique et didactique – structurante, celle de « culture scolaire » renvoie à un ensemble qui comprend des contenus, des pratiques, des valeurs, des représentations, etc., ainsi qu’au rapport construit par l’école et ses acteurs à cet ensemble, toutes ces choses devant être saisies dans leur dimension pleinement culturelle, et dans leur épaisseur historique. |

Then it examines how didacticians articulate–or not–“school form” and “discipline”, before working more specifically on two other concepts, “schooling” and “school culture”, insofar as they allow us to think differently about the “school form”. Where the notion of “form” refers rather to a structuring configuration–pedagogical and didactic–“school culture” refers to a whole that includes contents, practices, values, representations, etc., as well as the relationship built by the school and its actors to this whole, all these things having to be grasped in their fully cultural dimension, and in their historical thickness. |
