| Summary, etc. | L’article revient sur le problème public des médicaments illicites et sur les actions engagées par le gouvernement kényan pour lutter contre ce phénomène. Une attention particulière est prêtée à la reformulation récente du problème de l’illicite et à l’importance prise par les technologies dans la sécurisation du marché pharmaceutique. L’hypothèse soumise est que sous sa formulation actuelle et avec l’outillage qui l’accompagne, le problème des médicaments illicites contribue à donner une importance croissante aux standards et aux technologies de contrôle dans les débats sur l’accès aux médicaments pour les pays du Sud. L’analyse porte alors sur différentes technologies de sécurisation et sur les conceptions de l’authenticité et de la légitimité pharmaceutique qu’elles mettent en œuvre. |

| Summary, etc. | The article deals with the issue of illicit medicines and with the ways in which the Kenya government fights against it. It pays particular attention to the recent redefinition of the problem and to the growing importance taken by technologies for the securitization of pharmaceutical markets. The hypothesis discussed is that the current conception and technical tooling of the fight against illicit medicines participates in a shift of debates regarding access to medicines in the global South. Increasingly, these debates will have to take into account the role of standards and technologies of control in the (il)legitimation of pharmaceutical flows. To this end, the analysis compares different technologies of security and shows their underlying conceptions of authenticity and of pharmaceutical legitimacy. |

| Summary, etc. | El artículo trata de las medicinas ilícitas y de las acciones del gobierno de Kenya para luchar en contra de este fenómeno. Una atención particular esta dirigida hacia la reformulación reciente del problema de lo que se debe llamar ilícito y la importancia que han tomado las tecnologías de securización del mercado farmacéutico. La hipótesis del articulo es que dentro de la formulación actual así como de los instrumentos que la acompaña, el problema de las medicinas ilícitas contribuye a dar una creciente importancia a los estándares y las tecnologías de control dentro de los debates sobre el acceso a las medicinas en los países del Sur. El análisis debe centrarse en las tecnologías de securización y en las distintas concepciones de la legitimidad farmacéutica que implementan. |
