| Summary, etc. | Cette contribution a pour objectif d’étudier la trajectoire des postcolonial studies dans le champ académique de la France métropolitaine afin d’interroger le processus de circulation et d’institutionnalisation des savoirs. En montrant comment les études postcoloniales sont entrées depuis « les marges » dans le monde académique français, cet article pointe comment la structuration du monde académique français centrée sur les disciplines a participé à constituer un terreau propice aux résistances envers les postcolonial studies. Ce texte révèle ainsi comment l’anthropologie sociale dominée par le structuralisme a constitué un frein majeur à l’essor des études postcoloniales en France. L’article pointe à ce titre le rôle des deux ruptures épistémologiques opérées par Lévi-Strauss avec la philosophie et l’anthropologie étatsunienne dans l’éclosion tardive des postcolonial studies dans les sciences sociales françaises. |

| Summary, etc. | This article analyzes the trajectory of Postcolonial Studies in the global academic world in order to question the process of international knowledge transfer and institutionalization. By showing how Postcolonial Studies have entered into the French academic field, this article points to the disciplines, such as Anthropology, which play a fundamental role in the resistance encountered by Postcolonial Studies in France. Moreover, this article underlines how Social Anthropology dominated by Structuralism was a major obstacle to the rise of Postcolonial Studies in France. It therefore highlights the role of two epistemological ruptures led by Lévi-Strauss, with Philosophy and American Anthropology, to explain the late emergence of Postcolonial Studies in the field of French Anthropology, and more broadly, in the Social Sciences. |

| Summary, etc. | Esta contribución tiene como objetivo estudiar la trayectoria de los postcolonial studies en el campo académico francés metropolitano con el fin de interrogar el proceso de circulación y de institucionalización de los saberes. Mostrando como los estudios postcoloniales entraron en el mundo académico francés por «las márgenes», este artículo revela como la estructuración del mundo académico francés alrededor de disciplinas participó a constituir un terreno fértil para las resistencias contra los postcolonial studies. Así, este texto muestra como la antropología social, dominada por el estructuralismo, constituyó un freno mayor a la subida de los estudios postcoloniales en Francia. Como tal, el articulo subraya el papel de las dos rupturas epistemológicas operadas por Lévi-Strauss con la filosofía y la antropología estadounidense en la eclosión tardía de los postclonoial studies en la ciencias sociales francesas. |
