| Summary, etc. | L’enjeu d’ Histoire de l’imposture est de s’interroger, avec une certaine dose d’humour et d’ironie, sur l’artifice des postures sociales, des jeux de rôles, des normes conformistes qui nous façonnent et nous coulent dans des personnalités d’emprunt, aujourd’hui peut-être plus que jamais. Patrick Bonté est revenu sur la réalisation du spectacle dans un Journal de création où il s’interroge sur le processus lui-même Qu’est-ce qui se dit de l’imposture à travers le spectacle ? Comment un thème s’origine et se fond dans le corps et sur scène ? Mais également sur le sens et les multiples implications de la problématique de l’imposture. L’enjeu d’un tel spectacle est aussi de partager un trouble avec le spectateur. Lui faire dire des choses plutôt que de les exprimer pour lui, comme s’il se trouvait devant un tableau qui délivre des sens multiples, comme s’il avait à faire lui-même le choix du chemin que son regard suit. Être en lien de sensibilité, lui donner la liberté d’être au-delà ou en deçà du réel, alors que tout s’en inspire. |

| Summary, etc. | It is not without a good dose of humour and irony that Histoire de l’imposture puts into question the artifice of social postures, the role-playing and conformist norms that cast and shape us into borrowed personalities, today perhaps more than ever. Patrick Bonté takes a look back at the making of the production in a journal where he wonders about the creation process itself. What is said about imposture through the show? How does a theme originate and merge in the body and on stage? What are the meanings and multiple implications of the problematic of imposture? The challenge of such a performance is also to share a disturbance with the spectator. Bringing audience members to be involved in the meaning-making of what is being shown onstage instead of imposing a meaning by expressing it directly. It is exactly as if the audience were put in front of a painting that delivers multiple meanings: letting them choose the path their gaze will follow, be in touch with their sensitivity, and take the freedom to go beyond or below reality, while everything is inspired by it. |
