| Summary, etc. | L’écoute pose un certain nombre de problèmes aux praticiens sur lesquels nous proposons de revenir à partir des effets d’abord embarrassants de la clinique. Que faisons-nous de ce que nous entendons ? Avec quelle oreille écoute-t-on ? Repartant des travaux de Theodor Reik, auteur du célèbre Écouter avec la troisième oreille, Lacan démontrera en quoi l’analyste aura déjà trop de deux oreilles. Occasion donc de réinterroger en quoi écouter ne va pas de soi. Qu’est-ce qui rend l’écoute si difficile ? Parcourir le trajet qui mena Lacan de la proposition de l’analyste-auditeur à l’analyste-interprète conduit à cette hypothèse déroutante : lire la parole, lire avec l’oreille. Apprendre à lire, voilà une surprenante proposition pour les bancs de nos Collèges… de clinique psychanalytique. |

| Summary, etc. | Listening poses a certain number of problems for practitioners, to which we propose to return based on the initially discomfiting effects of the clinic. What do we do with what we hear ? With which ear do we listen ? Starting from the work of Theodor Reik, author of the famous Listening with the Third Ear, Lacan will demonstrate how the analyst’s two ears will already be too many. An opportunity therefore to re-examine how listening is not self-evident. What makes listening so difficult ? Following the path that led Lacan from the proposition of the analyst-listener to the analyst-interpreter leads to this disconcerting hypothesis : to read the word, to read with the ear.
