| Summary, etc. | En concentrant leurs efforts sur l’exportation des produits de base dont la valeur représente une faible « élasticité » des prix et des revenus par rapport à la demande, les pays d’Afrique centrale mettent leurs économies en état de déséquilibre réel. Ce phénomène de distorsion réelle entre l’offre et la demande des produits primaires accroît la vulnérabilité aux chocs internes et externes. Pour surmonter les défaillances structurelles de leurs économies, ces pays devraient opérer des choix rationnels en organisant et en planifiant la diversification de leurs économies. L’objectif de l’étude est donc de proposer des pistes d’action capables de transformer structurellement les économies d’Afrique pour une meilleure insertion internationale, source de croissance durable et d’appropriation du processus de développement. |

| Summary, etc. | By focusing their efforts on basic commodities whose value represents a weak “elasticity” of prices and incomes in relation to the demand, central African States are putting their economies in a state of real imbalance. Such a phenomenon of real distortion between the supply and demand of primary commodities increases their vulnerability to internal and external shocks. To surmount structural weaknesses of their economies, those countries should move toward rational options by organizing and planning the diversification of their economies. The objective of this study is therefore to propose options, tracks or measures capable of structurally transforming African economies for a better international insertion, which is a source of sustainable growth and ownership of the development process. |
