Summary, etc. | Abstract: Based on the case study of the We Are Europe website, result of a partnership between electronic music festivals, this article studies a recent movement in the artistic and cultural field: cultural organizations launching what they call online ‘media’. The aim is to understand whether this device is a promotional strategy or an emerging form of cultural journalism. Semiotic analysis of the site shows that a variety of editorial formats (archiving, reporting) and plural enunciative logics are embedded in the service of a ‘mediactivism’ promoting a diverse community of speakers and dealing with issues that are both cultural and political on a European scale. |

Summary, etc. | Résumé : À partir du cas d’étude du site internet We Are Europe, fruit d’un partenariat entre des festivals de musiques électroniques, cet article étudie un récent mouvement dans le champ culturel : la mise en ligne et l’animation, par les structures artistiques, de « médias ». L’objectif est de comprendre si le dispositif We Are Europe est une stratégie de promotion des acteurs culturels ou une forme émergente de journalisme culturel. L’analyse sémiotique du site montre que des formats éditoriaux variés (l’archivage, le reportage) et des logiques énonciatives plurielles s’enchâssent au service d’un « médiactivisme » faisant la promotion d’une communauté diversifiée de locuteurs et d’un traitement d’enjeux à la fois culturels et politiques à l’échelle européenne. |
