| Summary, etc. | Invitant à dépasser la distinction traditionnelle entre mimesis et diegesis, cet article se propose d’envisager en quoi le théâtre, comme activité de représentation fictionnelle de séquences d’actions, peut être compris de manière pertinente selon la catégorie du don. Qu’est-ce qui se joue et se donne dans le jeu théâtral ? Ce jeu, à l’instar des rituels d’échange des sociétés traditionnelles, est un jeu sérieux. Il implique dans son agencement et par l’effet de la performance, un pacte de reconnaissance entre acteurs et spectateurs. Il relève d’un processus de relations à la fois empathique et distancié. Et c’est dans la mesure où chacun, dans cette distance ludique, joue le jeu que peuvent circuler les affects entre la scène et la salle et que la fiction peut exercer sa prise sur la vie. |
