| Summary, etc. | En juin 1961 paraît Sédition, revue littéraire et politique, qui n’aura finalement qu’un seul numéro. Tentative de regroupement révolutionnaire entre des militants proches du mouvement trotskiste et de l’ultra-gauche et de membres du groupe surréaliste, la cohabitation au sein de la revue entre des sensibilités et des analyses hétérogènes tant politiques que culturelles, débouche finalement sur un constat d’échec. Née dans le contexte de la guerre d’Algérie et d’un régime répressif, le débat qui se développe dans la revue La Brèche entre Sédition et le groupe d’André Breton à propos de l’appréciation du Manifeste des 121 provoque une tension et des divergences qui mettent définitivement un terme à une possible action commune. |

| Summary, etc. | In June, 1961 appeared Sédition, a literary and political review so short-lived that only one issue was ever published. Intended to be a revolutionary meeting point for activists close to the Trotskyist movement and the ultra-left on the one hand, and members of the surrealist group on the other hand, the cohabitation within the review of both politically and culturally diverging sensibilities and analyses eventually led to a failure. Born against the background of the Algerian war and a repressive regime, the debate that developed in the periodical La Brèche opposing Sédition and André Breton’s group about the appreciation of the Manifeste des 121 provoked a tension and differences that definitively put an end to a possible joint action. |
