| Summary, etc. | Ce bref article attire l’attention sur l’originalité herméneutique et épistémologique de la pensée de Marcel Hénaff : le regard anthropologique qu’il a constamment cultivé au sein de son approche de l’histoire de la philosophie occidentale. Cela produit des effets de connaissance extraordinaires : d’une part, la découverte que la question du don et de la donation est la question originaire de la philosophie depuis Anaximandre jusqu’à Husserl, Heidegger, Derrida, Marion ou Ricœur, et, d’autre part, la mise en évidence de la limite de la philosophie parce que cette dernière, dans sa démarche, efface les savoirs historiques et scientifiques tels que l’anthropologie de Mauss et l’importance du don cérémoniel. |

| Summary, etc. | This brief article draws attention to the hermeneutical and epistemological originality of Marcel Hénaff’s thought: the anthropological perspective he has constantly cultivated within his approach to the history of Western philosophy. This produces powerful knowledge effects: on the one hand, the discovery that the question of gift and donation is the original question of philosophy from Anaximandre to Husserl, Heidegger, Derrida, Marion or Ricœur, and, on the other hand, the highlighting of the limit of philosophy because the latter, in its approach, erases historical and scientific knowledge such as Mauss’ anthropology and the importance of the ceremonial gift. |
