| Summary, etc. | Résumé Les monnaies antiques de Frencq sont à rapprocher de celles de Wacquinghen-Offrethun. D’une part, la dominante des monnaies gauloises est constituée de bronzes spécifiques au pagus de Boulogne. D’autre part, les monnaies romaines renferment une proportion exceptionnelle de deniers perdus par des militaires. Par contre, à Frencq, les dernières espèces romaines sont de Postume, indices du passage des pirates francs et saxons en 268-269. |

| Summary, etc. | The antique coins collected in Frencq are to be considered with those found in Wacquinghem-Offrethun. On the one hand, the major part of the Gallic coins is made up of bronzes that are specific to the pagus of Boulogne. On the other hand, among the Roman coins, an exceptionally large number was lost by troops. Now, in Frencq, the last Roman coins date from Posthumus, and thus indicate the passage of Franc and Saxon pirates in AD 268-269. |
