Summary, etc. | RésuméÀ l’adolescence, les jeunes vont acquérir une certaine autonomie. Dans le domaine de la santé, cette autonomisation nécessite certains préalables comme une estime de soi suffisante, une éducation à prendre soin de soi. Elle se fait en remaniant progressivement la place des différents acteurs de la consultation : celle de l’adolescent qui va désormais être au cœur de la consultation dans une relation duelle avec le soignant basée sur la confidentialité, celle des parents qui vont, de fait, passer en arrière-plan mais avec encore un rôle fondamental de soutien pour leur enfant, et celle du soignant qui se doit d’aider chacun à trouver sa juste place. L’absence de parents mobilisables, loin de faciliter le processus d’autonomisation, me semble au contraire le rendre plus délicat, avec un risque accru de rupture dans les soins qui oblige les professionnels gravitant autour de ces adolescents à être beaucoup plus vigilants et créatifs pour proposer malgré tout l’accompagnement de qualité dont ils ont besoin. |

Summary, etc. | Summary : At the time of adolescence, young people acquire some kind of autonomy. In the field of healthcare, this empowerment requires prerequisites such as a sufficient self-esteem and an education to self-care. This can be obtained by reorganising the place of actors in the consultation : the adolescent needs to be put back in a central position within a dual relationship, based on privacy, with the nursing staff. The parents will consequently pass in the second place, but with a still fundamental role consisting in supporting their child. In the end, the nursing staff will help everyone to find their right place. The absence of mobilisable parents, far from facilitating the empowerment process, seems, on the contrary, to make it more delicate and it implies an increasing chance of healthcare rupture. This forces the staff gravitating around the adolescents to be far more watchful and creative in order to propose, in spite of everything, the qualitative care they need. |
