| Summary, etc. | Dix ans d’expériences en équipe mobile incitent l’auteur à penser que les embarras face à la psychose ne sont pas que la résultante des défenses individuelles de professionnels, mais sont tout autant – si ce n’est plus – générées par des facteurs institutionnels, facteurs qui déterminent les mécanismes de pensée des professionnels bien plus qu’ils ne sont déterminés par ces derniers. Notamment, l’idée que, par avance, l’institution a tendance à décréter « qu’elle ne peut pas faire grand-chose car il s’agit d’une psychose ». Deux vignettes permettent de montrer le processus en œuvre. |

| Summary, etc. | After ten years of experiments in a team of mobile staff, the author came to think the embarrassments in front of psychosis are not the outcome of the staff’s individual defenses. They are equally – and perhaps more – generated by institutional factors that determine how the staff think more than they result from their actual way of thinking. Notably, institutional organisations tend to resort to a foregone conclusion : « It is impossible to do much because it is a psychosis. » The process in progress will be analysed through two clinical vignettes. |
