| Summary, etc. | Cet article propose de penser la création de profils sur les réseaux sociaux comme autant de créations de masques virtuels qui voilent tout en dévoilant le vrai visage des utilisateurs. Il est alors essentiel de définir ce que nous entendons par masque virtuel afin d’en comprendre les enjeux créatifs sous-jacents pour l’adolescent. Être présent dans ces espaces virtuels ouvre à l’art du leurre, du mensonge, sur lequel l’adolescent va s’étayer pour s’en-former un visage, se créer une ou plusieurs identités soumises au regard des pairs, identités en attente d’une validation dans le lien social. Le paradoxe propre au masque virtuel soutiendrait alors la symbolisation et la subjectivation adolescente dans la rencontre avec l’autre. |

| Summary, etc. | This article proposes to think the creation of profiles on social networks as so many creations of virtual masks that veil, as well as they unveil, the true face of users. It is then essential to define what we mean by virtual masks, in order to understand the underlying creative issues for adolescents. Being present in those virtual spaces opens onto the art of deceiveing, lying, upon which adolescents lean to form a new face, create one or several identities subjected to the perception of their peers; identities waiting for validation by social links. The proper paradox of the virtual mask would then support adolescent symbolisation and subjectification through meetings with the others. |
