| Summary, etc. | Depuis janvier 2017, la Roumanie connaît une vague de manifestations d’une ampleur sans précédent depuis 1990. Cet article montre que pour les comprendre, il faut d’une part les situer dans le cycle de mobilisation qui s’est ouvert dans le pays en 2011 et, d’autre part, articuler les échelles d’action et d’analyse. Les motivations, acteurs et dynamiques de ces mobilisations sont en effet à la fois profondément ancrés dans une situation nationale spécifique, situés dans des mutations de la société civile en Europe centrale et orientale et en résonance avec une vague de mobilisations globale. |

| Summary, etc. | Since January 2017, Romania has seen a wave of demonstrations of a size without precedent since 1990. To explain these demonstrations, they have to be both placed in a cycle of mobilization that started in the country in 2011 and articulated with scales of action and analysis. The motivations, persons, parties and dynamics of this wave of activism have deep roots in the current situation at the national level, but they are also part of the changes in central and eastern European societies, and they resonate with a wave of global mobilization. |
