| Summary, etc. | Cet article cherche à mesurer l’impact de la crise sanitaire de la Covid-19 sur l’emploi local en France métropolitaine. En partant d’une vaste littérature sur la résilience économique et des premières données locales disponibles sur le nombre de suppressions d’emplois, nous mettons en évidence, d’une part, les différences de résilience des zones d’emploi face à la crise et, d’autre part, les facteurs explicatifs clefs à l’origine de ces disparités. Les premiers résultats économétriques montrent une influence significative de la densité, du niveau de l’emploi dans l’industrie, de la structure productive ainsi que de la dynamique entrepreneuriale du territoire. En revanche, aucune relation n’est trouvée entre les zones d’emploi présentant des niveaux importants de surmortalité et celles qui ont le plus enregistré de pertes d’emplois. | Summary, etc. | This article seeks to measure the impact of COVID-19 health crisis on local employment in metropolitan France. Based on an extensive literature on economic resilience and the first available local data on the number of job losses, we highlight, on the one hand, the differences in the resilience of employment areas in the face of the crisis and, on the other hand, the key explanatory factors behind these disparities. The first econometric results show a significant influence of the density, the level of employment in industry, the productive structure, and the entrepreneurial dynamics of the territory.However, no relationship was found between employment areas with high levels of excess mortality and those with the most job losses.
