| Summary, etc. | Cet article propose une analyse des choix résidentiels des immigrants boliviens et paraguayens installés à São Paulo. L’auteur rend compte de la façon dont les choix résidentiels – la localisation dans l’espace urbain, le statut d’occupation du logement et la trajectoire résidentielle – sont déterminés par l’environnement économique et fonctionnel de la ville. Il propose également d’inverser la perspective pour considérer que l’organisation et la localisation des activités économiques, en l’occurrence la confection vestimentaire dans l’espace métropolitain, relèvent pour une bonne part des caractères individuels et collectifs de la migration internationale et en particulier des choix résidentiels des migrants boliviens et paraguayens. |

| Summary, etc. | Este texto ofrece un análisis de las opciones residenciales de los inmigrantes bolivianos y paraguayos establecidos en San Paulo, Brasil. Se explica cómo las opciones residenciales, es decir, la ubicación en el espacio urbano, el estatuto de ocupación de la residencia principal y la trayectoria residencial son determinados por el contexto económico y funcional de la ciudad. Sin embargo, proponemos también reverter la perspectiva y considerar como la organización y ubicación en el área metropolitana de la actividad económica, en este caso, la confección de ropas, se explican en parte con los caracteres individuales y colectivos de la migración internacional y en particular con las elecciones residenciales los migrantes bolivianos y paraguayos. |
