| Summary, etc. | Cet article entend analyser l’influence que la Polonia tente d’exercer sur les acteurs en charge des politiques migratoires en Europe autant que les logiques d’instrumentalisation dont elle fait l’objet. En prenant au sérieux la Polonia (diaspora polonaise), cette étude interroge les usages de cette terminologie qui est, pour les migrants et enfants de migrants polonais, un marqueur identitaire et un support à l’action. La Polonia devient alors un outil pour renouveler l’approche faite en sciences humaines et sociales de la catégorie de diaspora. Cet argumentaire repose sur l’investigation empirique de deux réseaux associatifs locaux : germano-polonais (Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie) et franco-polonais (Nord-Pas-de-Calais). Il s’agit alors d’interroger le processus d’ethnicisation à l’œuvre tant pour ce qui concerne la construction identitaire du groupe que les politiques migratoires (politiques « du départ et du retour » et « d’accueil et d’intégration ») conduites à son endroit. |

| Summary, etc. | This article intends to analyse how Polonia attempts to influence the decision-makers responsible for migration policies in Europe on the one hand, and the logics used to instrumentalise the Polish diaspora on the other. By taking the Polonia (the Polish diaspora) seriously this study questions how this terminology is used – a terminology that is both a marker of identity and a basis for action for Polish immigrants and their children. The Polonia then becomes a tool for renewing the ways in which the human and social sciences treat the diaspora category. This reasoning is based on the empirical investigation of two local associative networks: Germano-Polish (North Rhineland-Westphalia) and Franco-Polish (Nord-Pas-de-Calais). This means studying the ethnicisation process both from the point of view of how the group’s identity is constructed and the migration policies the group is subject to – policies “of departure and return” and “of welcome and integration”. |

| Summary, etc. | Este artículo entiende analizar tanto la influencia que la Polonia intenta ejercer sobre los actores encargados de las políticas migratorias en Europa como las lógicas de instrumentalización de las cuales es el objeto. Considerando la Polonia (diáspora polaca), este estudio interroga los usos de esta terminología que es, para los migrantes e hijos de migrantes polacos, un marcador identitario y un soporte para la acción. La Polonia se vuelve así una herramienta para renovar la aproximación, en ciencias humanas y sociales, a la categoría de diáspora. Esta argumentación se basa en la investigación empírica de dos redes asociativas locales: germano-polaca (Renania del Norte-Westafalia) y franco-polaca (Norte Paso de Calais). Se trata pues de interrogar el proceso de etnicización que se opera tanto en lo de la construcción identitaria del grupo como en las políticas migratorias (políticas «de la partida y de la vuelta» y «de acogida y de integración») que la impactan. |
