| Summary, etc. | Le séga des descendants d’esclaves africains et malgaches de l’île Maurice (les « Créoles ») a subi de nombreuses recompositions par l’élite coloniale et l’industrie musicale afin de constituer les contours d’un folklore mauricien. À ce phénomène d’appropriation transcommunautaire du séga, deux autres permirent une labellisation nationale où la danse joue un rôle majeur : l’indépendance de l’île en 1968 et le développement touristique. Pour les différentes générations de Mauriciens immigrés en France depuis l’indépendance, le maintien des relations transnationales avec le pays d’origine passe par la constitution de repères non plus « communaux » mais nationaux, parmi lesquels le séga et l’expérience kinesthésique de sa danse. L’ethnographie des « Mauriciens de France » nous permettra d’examiner les frontières territoriales et identitaires qui se renégocient en contexte transnational. |

| Summary, etc. | The sega of the descendants of African and Malagasy slaves of Mauritius (the “Creoles”) has undergone numerous recompositions by the colonial elite and the music industry in order to define the outlines of a Mauritian folklore. Adding to this phenomenon of transcommunity appropriation of the sega, two others allowed a national labellisation where dance plays a major role: the independence of the island in 1968 and the development of tourism. For the various generations of Mauritian immigrants in France since the independence, the maintenance of transnational relations with the country of origin requires the establishment of not only “communal” benchmarks but national ones, among which the sega and the kinesthetic experience of his dance. The ethnography of the Mauritians of France will allow us to analyze the territorial and identity boundaries that are renegotiated in a transnational context. |

| Summary, etc. | El sega de los descendientes de esclavos africanos y malgaches de la isla Mauricio (los «Criollos») ha sido objeto de numerosas recomposiciones por parte de la élite colonial y la industria musical para constituir los contornos de un folclor mauriciano. A este fenómeno de apropiación transcomunitaria del sega, otros dos permitieron una certificación nacional donde la danza juega un papel importante: la independencia de la isla en 1968 y el desarrollo turístico. Para las diferentes generaciones de mauricianos inmigrantes en Francia desde la independencia, la conservación de las relaciones transnacionales con el país de origen requiere el establecimiento de puntos de referencia ya no «comunitarios» sino nacionales, incluido el sega y la experiencia cinestésica de su danza. La etnografía de los «mauricianos de Francia» nos permitirá examinar las fronteras territoriales e identitarias que se renegocian en un contexto transnacional. |
