520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | There is a certain banality in murder and its restriction to the murder of the father does not help us to understand the diversity of the multiple ideas arising from the unconscious. The Oedipus legend, as Freud understands, is downsized to the version presented in just one of Sophocles’s two Oedipus plays. Besides, this does not seem to match with the “scientific myth” of the archaic murder of the father of the horde of brothers and with Hebrew legends. This paper tackles different elements of Greek and Hebrew legends and its aim is to enlarge the scope of the comprehension of the unconscious. |
