Qu’il s’agisse de valoriser des savoir-faire existants ou de favoriser l’installation de nouvelles activités, les « pôles métiers d’art » renvoient à des démarches de développement local le plus souvent intuitives et empiriques. L’article propose une présentation de ces démarches et des conditions de leur mise en œuvre, avant d’ouvrir un questionnement sur leur fondement théorique. |

| Summary, etc. | The « pôles métiers d’art »: empirical processes of local development concerning networks of territorial solidarity with productive purpose ?Increasingly many initiatives aim at instigating territories starting - district with the country - from the crafts. That it is a question of developing existing know-how or of supporting the installation of new activities, the « pôles métiers d’art » return to generally intuitive and empirical process of local development.
