| Summary, etc. | Au Burkina Faso, une approche spatio-temporelle montre que le taux de croissance de l’incidence de la pauvreté urbaine régionale relative excède de 14 % celui du taux d’urbanisation. La difficulté croissante d’accéder au marché du travail et l’affaiblissement de la mobilisation du capital social pourraient expliquer l’augmentation absolue et relative des privations monétaires dans les villes. Par ailleurs, on observe, corrélativement avec l’urbanisation, à la fois une progression du niveau de la survie des enfants, et une élévation de l’inégalité de la mortalité des enfants. Ces tendances pourraient signifier que la réallocation sectorielle de la pauvreté constitue de nouveaux défis du développement. |

A Spatial-Time-Series Approach in Burkina Faso In Burkina Faso, a spatio-time-series approach shows that the growth rate of the incidence of relative regional urban poverty is higher 14 % than that of the rate of urbanization. The increasing difficulty of the labour market access and the weakening of the mobilization of the social capital, could explain the absolute and relative increase of monetary deprivations in the cities. Besides, one observes, correlatively with the urbanization, at the same time a progression of the level of the child survival, and a rise in the inequality of the infant and child mortality. These tendencies could mean that sectoral reallocation of poverty constitutes new challenges of development. |
