| Summary, etc. | RésuméDans une approche de sociologie pragmatique, nous avons voulu comprendre les mécanismes de non-médiatisation à travers le travail journalistique et les stratégies de mobilisation des sources. Entre naturalisme et constructivisme, ce travail interroge les pratiques journalistiques quant aux activités de cadrage de l’occurrence, de sélection de l’information, ainsi que les formes de jugement à l’œuvre pour évaluer l’attractivité de l’information dans une perspective de sociologie des modes de production de l’information.Il s’agit d’une première réponse à la critique des médias prenant pour cible, depuis une dizaine d’années, les « silences médiatiques ». |

| Summary, etc. | From a pragmatic sociological approach to the production of information, this article explores the mechanisms of non-mediatization through journalists’ work and their strategies of mobilizing sources. Between naturalism and constructivism, the author analyses journalistic practices as regards the framing of occurrence, the selection of information, and forms of judgement at play in assessing the attractiveness of news. This is an initial response to criticism of the media and particularly, in the past fifteen years, «media silences». |
