| Summary, etc. | Le but de cet article est de montrer comment une fiction audiovisuelle est porteuse de la vision d’un Autre exotisé et par quelles actions des comédiens racisés peuvent modifier leurs personnages à la marge. Pour cela, nous avons réalisé une enquête ethnographique de sept mois sur une websérie LGBT. Dans le cadre de cette fiction, deux des personnages sont d’origine maghrébine : le personnage principal et sa sœur. Nous nous focalisons ici sur la période de tournage pour pouvoir analyser l’agentivité des comédiens racisés incarnant ces rôles dans le cadre d’une production destinée au web. Ces comédiens tirent parti de flous dans le scénario pour nuancer la représentation d’une minorité à laquelle ils appartiennent, tout en restant dans un rapport en tension avec les réalisateurs et le scénariste qui gardent la responsabilité de la direction d’acteurs, du montage et de l’écriture du récit. |

| Summary, etc. | The aim of this article is to show how a filmed fiction carries the vision of an exoticized Other and how racialized actors can slightly alter their characters. To do so, we carried out a seven-month ethnographic survey on an LGBT web series. Two of the protagonists in this fiction, the main character and his sister, are of North-African descent. This article focuses on the shooting period so as to analyse these racialised actors’ agency in a production intended for online broadcasting. They took advantage of grey areas in the screenplay to nuance the representation of a minority to which they belong, while remaining in a delicate relationship with the directors and the scriptwriter, who retained responsibility for directing the actors and for editing and writing the story. |
