| Summary, etc. | Comment expliquer le recours à la notion de « comportement inapproprié au travail » ? Le flou du concept est-il nécessaire ou bien compromet-il la régulation des comportements qu’il est censé soutenir ? Après une revue de la littérature, cet article présente une étude longitudinale de trois cas recourant à l’interdiction du comportement inapproprié : une maraude bénévole pour SDF, un groupe-projet d’étudiants, un cabinet de consultants. Le contenu des données collectées par observation participante et entretiens non directifs a été analysé manuellement et avec le logiciel NVivo11. Selon nos résultats, l’usage du concept flou a deux fonctions, performative et subjectivante, et correspond à un processus heuristique de régulation des comportements. |

| Summary, etc. | How to explain the use of the notion of “inappropriate behaviour at work” ? Is the vagueness of the concept necessary ? Or does it compromise the regulation of the behaviour it is supposed to support ? After a literature review, this article presents a longitudinal study of three cases concerned by the prohibition of inappropriate behaviour : a volunteer activity for homeless, a group-project of students, and a consulting firm. The data were collected through participant observation and non-directive interviews. The content analysis was done manually and then with NVivo11 software. According to our results, the use of the fuzzy concept has two functions : performative and subjective and corresponds to a heuristic process of behaviour regulation. |

| Summary, etc. | ¿Cómo explicar el uso del concepto de “comportamiento inapropiado en el trabajo” ? ¿Es necesario mostener la vaguedad de este concepto o compromete la regulación de los comportamientos que se supone debe hace ? Después de una revisión de la literatura, este artículo presenta un estudio longitudinal de tres casos relacionados con la prohibición de conductas inapropiadas : una actividad voluntaria para personas sin hogar, un grupo de proyecto de estudiantes, una empresa de consultoría. El contenido de los datos recopilados por observación participante y entrevistas no directivas se analizó manualmente y con el software NVivo11. Según nuestros resultados, el uso del concepto borroso tiene dos funciones, performativa y subjetivadora, y corresponde a un proceso heurístico de regulación de los comportamientos. |
