| Summary, etc. | Peu de travaux ont étudié les reconfigurations en cours dans les modes de communication en agriculture à l’heure des médias sociaux. Cet article s’intéresse à l’émergence d’une communauté d’agriculteurs vidéastes se filmant au travail : les agri-youtubeurs. À partir d’une enquête articulant entretiens semi-directifs, observations ethnographiques menées in situ et en ligne (analyse d’un corpus de vidéo), ainsi qu’une analyse de réseaux appliquée aux relations entre youtubeurs, nous analysons la manière dont ces acteurs rendent intelligibles leurs activités quotidiennes à l’attention d’un public aussi distant qu’incertain. Après avoir resitué ces pratiques de communication dans l’histoire d’une communauté de vloggers visant une reprise en main de la médiatisation de l’image des agriculteurs auprès du grand public, nous montrons comment les agri-youtubeurs procèdent à une mise en scène de leurs pratiques au format d’une chronique située et familière. Celle-ci leur permet d’instaurer une relation de proximité à distance avec leurs abonnés. |

| Summary, etc. | Few studies have investigated the reconfigurations taking place in the modes of communication in agriculture in the age of social media. This article focuses on the emergence of a community of farmers filming themselves at work: the agri-youtubers. Based on a survey combining semi-structured interviews, ethnographic observations conducted in situ and online (analysis of a video corpus), as well as a network analysis applied to the relationships between youtubers, we look at how these actors make their daily activities intelligible to an audience that is both distant and unknown. After situating these communication practices in the history of a community of vloggers aiming to regain control of the mediatization of farmers’ image among the general public, we show how agri-youtubers stage their practices in the format of a situated and familiar chronicle. This allows them to establish proximity relationships with their subscribers. |
