| Summary, etc. | Les défis engendrés par la phase d’intégration des opérations de fusions-acquisitions – entre 40 à 60 % des fusions-acquisitions sont un échec selon Bauer et Matzler (2014) – conduisent à la création de « managers d’interfaces » (nommés boundary spanners dans la littérature sur les alliances stratégiques) qui semblent porter la responsabilité de la gestion opérationnelle de l’intégration post-fusion. Ces acteurs, en tant qu’individus positionnés aux frontières des deux entités engagées dans une fusion-acquisition, sont amenés à gérer la relation inter-organisationnelle. Dans cet article, nous tentons d’identifier les rôles et influences des managers d’interfaces dans le processus de l’intégration post-fusion. |

| Summary, etc. | The challenges raised by the integration stage of merger and acquisitions (M&As) operations – between 40% to 60% of M&As fail according to Bauer and Matzler (2014) – lead to the creation of “interface managers” (called boundary spanners in the literature on strategic alliances) taking responsibility for the operational management of post-merger integration. These actors positioned at the borders of the two entities engaged in a merger, are required to manage inter-organizational relationships. In this article, we attempt to identify the roles and influences of interface managers in the post-merger integration process. |

| Summary, etc. | Los retos generados por la integración de las operaciones de “fusiones y adquisiciones” – entre el 40 y el 60% de las fusiones y adquisiciones son un fracaso, según Bauer y Matzler (2014) – llevan a la creación de “mendos de interfaz” (llamados boundary spanners en la literatura sobre alianzas estratégicas) quienes parecen encarga dos de la responsabilidad de la gestión operacional de la integración post fusión. La posición de estos actores, ubicados en la frontera entre las dos entidades comprometidas en una fusión-adquisición, los lleva a pilotear la relación inter-organizacional. En nuestro artículo, intentamos identificar los papeles e influencias de los mandos de interfaz en el proceso de la integración post fusión. |
