Les résultats montrent l’effet positif de l’orientation client et de l’orientation concurrent sur leur performance. En outre, l’intensité concurrentielle et la turbulence du marché modèrent les liens entre les orientations stratégiques et la performance. |

Summary, etc. | Does market orientation promote the performance of small companies in a developing economy? To answer this question, we analyze a sample of 158 small Senegalese companies. The results show the positive effect of customer orientation and competitor orientation on their performance. Furthermore, competitive intensity and market turbulence moderate the links between strategic orientations and performance. |
