| Summary, etc. | Les travaux de Simons proposent un cadre original des relations entre le contrôle et la stratégie. Ce cadre a suscité des critiques et des travaux complémentaires. En adoptant une approche focalisée sur les managers intermédiaires, cette recherche vise à caractériser le contrôle interactif horizontal insuffisamment précisé dans les recherches antérieures. Après une analyse de la littérature, qui a permis l’élaboration d’une grille d’analyse, l’article présente les résultats d’une recherche-intervention réalisée auprès d’un prestataire de services logistiques ayant adopté un nouvel outil de mesure de la performance. L’étude de l’utilisation de cet outil par des managers (responsables d’activités) et des ingénieurs, ainsi que des outils de contrôle préexistants, permet d’identifier les caractéristiques du contrôle interactif horizontal des activités d’entreposage et les différences pouvant exister entre les plateformes logistiques du prestataire. |

| Summary, etc. | Simons’s researches offer an original framework for relations between control and strategy. This framework has attracted criticism and further work. By adopting an approach focused on middle managers, this research aims to characterize the horizontal interactive control insufficiently specified in previous research. After an literature analysis, which allowed the development of an analysis grid, the article presents the results of a research-intervention carried out with a third-party logistics having adopted a new tool for measuring performance. The study of this tool’s use by managers and engineers, as well as pre-existing control tools, allow us to identify horizontal interactive control characteristics of warehousing activities and differences between the third-party logistics platforms. |
