| Summary, etc. | Après une réflexion sur la possibilité de métaphores éthiques portées par des artefacts et sur la médiation éthique par la technique, on analyse comment certains artefacts, « détournés » quant à leur apparence, leur usage ou leur contexte d’utilisation dans la Bible, par des récits, des prophéties ou des exhortations, peuvent être des métaphores du salut et des métaphores éthiques. À partir de quatorze exemples on repère à chaque fois comment c’est le détournement de l’artefact qui vient critiquer l’éthique de la puissance, de la performance et du mensonge qui caractérisent la technique en tant que telle, et qui suscite alors une éthique des valeurs et des vertus, en fidélité à la Parole de Dieu. |

| Summary, etc. | After a reflection on the possibility of ethical metaphors conveyed by artefacts and on ethical mediation through technology, we analyse how certain artefacts which are “misused” in the Bible with respect to their appearance, their use, or their context, can, through narratives, prophecies, or exhortations, serve as metaphors of salvation or ethical metaphors. Fourteen examples show how the misuse of the artefact serves to criticise the ethics of power, of performance, and of lying that characterise technology as such, giving rise in consequence to an ethic of values and virtues in fidelity to the Word of God. |
