| Summary, etc. | Les personnes en situation de handicap réclament une pleine participation à la vie de la société. Prendre une part active dans le leadership des communautés devient alors un enjeu des théologies du handicap. Dans cette contribution, nous regarderons comment les disability studies ont permis le développement d’une pensée proprement en prise avec la question du handicap. Les théologiens du handicap vont jusqu’à proposer l’image de « Dieu handicapé » ( Disabled God) et n’hésitent pas à affirmer que dans un Au-delà radicalement inclusif, tous seront les bienvenus, avec ou sans déficiences. Certains de ces théologiens n’hésitent pas à dépasser le paradigme de l’inclusion pour exiger plus de leadership des personnes en situation de handicap, ce qui serait selon eux crucial pour une compréhension théologique juste et ajustée. |

| Summary, etc. | People with disabilities demand full participation in society. Taking an active part in the leadership of communities thus becomes a challenge for disability theologies. In this essay, we will consider how disability studies have enabled the development of a way of thinking that is genuinely concerned with the question of disability. Disability theologians go so far as to propose the image of a “Disabled God” and do not hesitate to assert that in a radically inclusive afterlife, all will be welcome, with or without impairments. Some of these theologians do not hesitate to go beyond the paradigm of inclusion to demand more leadership for people with disabilities, which they consider to be crucial for a right and proper theological understanding. |
