| Summary, etc. | The idealisation of discourse on the family and sexuality is intrinsically rooted in a lack of awareness of the Word of God. From the outset, this Word presents men and women with an exciting and unscripted future in which God is present. But this initial good news is often reified, with human beings immediately assigned to predetermined roles. By listening carefully to the Bible, we can rediscover the movement of divine Life and better understand the richness of gendered life. This also enables us to name the life-giving realities that we discover and the perversions that try to distort them: by talking about rape and other controversial subjects, the Word opens our eyes and our minds. It teaches us to embrace reality and to find the freedom of expression that comes from God. |

| Summary, etc. | L’idéalisation du discours sur la famille et la sexualité est foncièrement due à un manque d’éducation par la parole biblique. Cette Parole présente d’emblée hommes et femmes dans un devenir passionnant et non programmable où Dieu est présent. Or, cette bonne nouvelle inaugurale est souvent réifiée : les humains sont comme immédiatement assignés à des rôles prévus. L’écoute assidue de la Bible permet de revenir au mouvement de la Vie divine et de comprendre mieux la richesse de la vie sexuée. Elle permet aussi de nommer les réalités vivifiantes que nous découvrons et les perversions qui tentent de les dénaturer : en parlant du viol et d’autres sujets qui fâchent, la Parole nous ouvre les yeux et l’esprit. Elle nous éduque à embrasser le réel et à trouver la liberté de parole venue de Dieu. |
