| Summary, etc. | L’industrie automobile française demeure aujourd’hui l’une des plus importantes du monde : en 2018, son industrie automobile nationale plaçait la France à la dixième place des producteurs mondiaux et au troisième rang en Europe. Les positions de Renault apparaissent particulièrement fortes en Russie. Le constructeur automobile français maintient sa présence sur le marché russe, malgré les nombreux bouleversements que connaît le pays au XXe siècle. À l’époque soviétique, la marque au losange réussit de nombreux projets industriels sur le territoire de l’URSS et réalise un transfert d’importance des technologies. Après la chute de l’Union soviétique, Renault investit dans la construction d’une usine automobile à Moscou. L’usine « Renault Russie » devient en 2014, la quatrième usine du Groupe Renault en volume de production. Il s’agira ici d’observer et d’expliquer la stratégie de la marque sur le marché russe. |

In 2018, the French automotive industry ranked tenth among world producers and third in Europe. Renault’s positions appear particularly strong in Russia. The French car manufacturer is maintaining its presence on the Russian market, despite different challenges of the 20th century. During the Soviet era, Renault succeeded in numerous industrial projects on the territory of the USSR and carried out significant technology transfer. After the fall of the Soviet Union, Renault invested in the construction of the automobile plant in Moscow. In 2014, the Renault Russia plant became the 4th plant of the Groupe Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi in terms of production volume. This paper will monitor and explain Renault’s brand’s strategy in Russia.
