| Summary, etc. | L’objet de cet article est de confronter à la réalité d’un terrain d’étude l’hypothèse formulée par Y. Giordano et N. Giroux (RFG, 1998) selon laquelle la communication monologique correspondrait à une phase dramatique de la vie des organisations, et le dialogue à l’outil d’amélioration continue des pratiques propres à l’organisation moderne en réseau. Si les résultats de notre recherche vérifient l’hypothèse, ils la prolongent et viennent nourrir les recherches utilisant des approches communicationnelles de l’organisation. |

| Summary, etc. | From monologue to dialogue: the communicational transformation of an organization The aim of this paper is to test empirically Giordano and Giroux’s hypothesis, published in a 1998 RFG issue, according to which monological communication corresponds to a dramatical phase of the life of organizations, and dialogue to the continuous improvement of the practices of modern networked organization. The findings of our research verify this hypothesis, but also prolong the authors’ thought and contribute to the school of research which uses communicational approaches to organizations. |
