520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Summary — From the very beginning, Homo sapiens sought to overcome his original distress with the play of artistic creation, that, of course, had the ritual function of communicating with mythical spirits, but extended to an infinite variety of painted, sculpted or engraved forms, that were often inscribed in a resistant material that resisted wearing down with time. Whilst human representations were often hardly realistic, schematic or fragmented, in contrast with animal representations that were much more objective, one can imagine that the affect of primary shame, described by Claude Janin, led the prehistorical artist to hide representations of the human body and thus to obey organic repression, a figure of the original repression at the basis of the drive, of psychic life and of culture. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |

Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
