| Summary, etc. | Les rapports de la science sociale et de l’action ont constitué un point névralgique dans la constitution de la discipline sociologique chez les sociologues durkheimiens. Ainsi, alors même que, dès son entrée en fonction, le Bureau international du travail fut l’objet d’un investissement sociologique particulier de la part d’héritiers de la pensée d’Émile Durkheim, plusieurs durkheimiens renoncèrent pourtant à y exercer leur science. En interrogeant les raisons de la distance de François Simiand à l’égard de l’œuvre de l’organisation entre 1920 et 1930, à partir d’un réexamen de sa méthodologie, cet article contribue à distinguer, dans l’entre-deux-guerres, deux voies sociologiques divergentes : un durkheimisme scientifique et un durkheimisme d’action. |

| Summary, etc. | Scientific Durkheimianism and the Durkheimianism of action: François Simiand and the International Labour Office (1920-1930) The relationship between social science and social action were a key issue in the constitution of the sociological discipline amongst Durkheimian sociologists. Thus, despite the fact that when it was set up the International Labour Office was the focus of particular sociological involvement on the part of Durkheim’s intellectual heirs, several Durkheimians decided they would not work there. Using an examination of the reasons why François Simiand distanced himself from the work of the organization between 1920 and 1930, and from a review of his methodology, this article helps to distinguish two divergent sociological paths during the interwar period: a scientific Durkheimianism and a Durkheimianism of action. |

Así, aunque varios epigonos de Emilio Durkheim ya desde sus principios tomaron la Organización internacional del trabajo como un objeto sociológico particular, varios durkheimianos sin embargo renunciaron a ejercer su ciencia allí. Interrogando las razones de la distancia de François Simiand con respecto a la obra de la Organización entre 1920 y 1930 y a partir de un repaso a su metodología, este artículo permite diferenciar en el periodo de entreguerras dos vías divergentes: un durkheimismo científico y otro de acción. |

| Summary, etc. | Die Beziehungen zwischen der Sozialwissenschaft und der Aktion bildeten einen neuralgischen Punkt in der Erstellung der soziologischen Disziplin bei den durkheimischen Soziologen. Mehrere Anhänger Durkheims verzichteten jedoch auf die Ausübung ihrer Wissenschaft obwohl schon bei Amtsantritt des internationalen Arbeitsbureaus eine besondere soziologische Investierung seitens der Erben des durkheimischen Denkens erfolgte. Ausgehend von der Prüfung seiner Methodologie beleuchtet dieser Aufsatz die Gründe der Distanzierung von François Simiand gegenüber der Arbeit dieser Organisation zwischen 1920 und 1930, und trägt damit dazu bei, zwischen den beiden Weltkriegen zwei voneinander abweichende soziologische Wege zu unterscheiden: einen wissenschaftlichen Durkheimismus und einen Durkheimismus der Aktion. |
