Une fois posé le caractère idéal de la santé etmontré ses rapports à la normalité, il la décrit comme tendue entre deuxpôles. Celui de la psychosomatique qui intervient dans les déterminismesindividuels et familiaux, biologiques et psychiques, et celui du travail dont lerôle est déterminant dans les causes sociales de la santé. Il développel’idée que la question de la psychosomatique est plutôt celle des ressortsde la lutte pour la santé que celle des causes de la maladie. |

Once the ideal character of health is evoked and its relationshipto normality shown, he describes it as stretched between two poles. One is thatof psychosomatics which intervenes in individual, family, biological andpsychical determinisms, and the other is work whose role is determined in thesocial causes of health. He develops the idea that the question ofpsychosomatics falls more within the realm of the struggle for health than thatof the causes of illness. |
