En s’appuyant sur une recherche-action menée dans le service informatique d’une entreprise de transport, l’article vise à montrer que cette forme d’organisation peut également transformer en profondeur les rapports entre marge et centre. Le recours à la sous-traitance permet d’organiser une mise à l’épreuve des salariés du donneur d’ordres qui risquent d’être progressivement mis à l’écart dans leur travail au profit notamment des sous-traitants. |

| Summary, etc. | Subcontracting is frequently analysed as part of the dichotomy between the centre and its margins. Based on a research on the IT department of a transport company, the article aims at showing that this form of organisation can also deeply transform the relationship between margin and centre. Subcontracting enables to organise a trial for the employees of the main contractor who may be gradually sidelined in their work for the benefit of the subcontractors. |
