| Summary, etc. | En France, les acteurs de santé tout comme la puissance publique voient en la télémédecine une réponse aux problématiques contemporaines du système de santé (amélioration de la qualité des soins et réduction des dépenses de santé). Un acte nourrit plus particulièrement les espoirs : la télésurveillance médicale. Cet article discute de la cohérence des objectifs de performance associés à l’acte de télésurveillance. En mobilisant l’économie des services, nous caractérisons les process de production. Nous révélons ainsi la participation d’une catégorie de producteurs invisibles, les patients et les aidants. Cette invisibilité apparaît alors comme la condition nécessaire à l’efficience attendue de la télésurveillance. |

| Summary, etc. | From a care relationship to a service relationship: How should medical telemonitoring be organized?Healthcare professionals and public authorities in France consider telemonitoring to be an answer to the contemporary challenges of healthcare (improving the quality of care and reducing costs). One aspect particularly fuels these hopes: medical telemonitoring. This paper discusses the consistency of the performance aims associated with medical telemonitoring. By looking at the care economy, we characterize the production processes, revealing the participation of a group of hidden actors: the patient and their caregivers. This invisibility seems a necessary condition of the efficiency expected of healthcare. |
