| Summary, etc. | Dans des essais précédents et dans mon livre Freud à Jérusalem : La psychanalyse face au sionisme (Antilope, 2017), j’ai recherché les conditions mentales et historiques dans lesquelles la pratique de la psychanalyse est devenue possible en Israël dans la première moitié du xxe siècle. Je soutiens qu’au-delà de la catastrophe européenne qui a conduit à la migration d’analystes germanophones, dirigée par Max Eitingon le « helmsman » de Freud vers la Palestine juive, un ensemble particulier de besoins, d’espoirs et d’anxiétés contribua à l’épanouissement de la psychanalyse freudienne dans ce pays. Cet article a pour objet de dégager et de mettre en lumière certains de ces facteurs. |

| Summary, etc. | In previous essays and in my book Freud à Jerusalem : Psychoanalyse face au sionisme (Antilope, 2017), I investigated the mental and historical conditions in which the practice of psychoanalysis became possible in Israel in the first half of the twentieth century. I maintained that beyond the European catastrophe that led to the migration of German-speaking analysts, led by Max Eitingon, Freud’s "helmsman", to Jewish Palestine, a particular set of needs, hopes and anxieties contributed to the blossoming of Freudian psychoanalysis in this country. This article aims to identify and highlight some of these factors. |

Creo que más allá de la catástrofe europea que llevó a emigrar a analistas de habla alemana, conducidos por Max Eitingon el “helmsman” de Freud hacia la Palestina judía, un conjunto específico de necesidades, de esperanzas y ansiedades contribuyó al desarrollo del psicoanálisis freudiano en el país. | Summary, etc. | In früheren Essays und in meinem Buch „ Freud in Jerusalem : Die Psychoanalyse im Angesicht des Zionismus“ (Antilope, 2017) erforschte ich die geistigen und historischen Bedingungen, unter denen die Praxis der Psychoanalyse in Israel in der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts möglich wurde. Ich behaupte, dass jenseits der europäischen Katastrophe, die zur Auswanderung deutschsprachiger Analytiker geführt hat und durch Max Eitingon, dem « Steuermann » Freuds, in das jüdische Palästina geleitet wurde, ein bestimmtes Ensemble an Bedürfnissen, Hoffnungen und Ängsten zur Entwicklung der Freudschen Psychoanalyse in diesem Land beigetragen hat. Dieser Artikel bemüht sich, einige dieser Faktoren herauszuarbeiten und zu beleuchten. |
