| Summary, etc. | On est toujours deux dans un témoignage. Et peu de textes requièrent avec la même urgence l’écoute, la présence physique ou symbolique de l’autre, contemporain, auditeur ou lecteur, qui est aussi le représentant de l’autre humain qui fit défaut au moment de l’épreuve. D’où la nécessité de renouer le lien que Primo Levi traduit par l’interpellation, l’adresse, et le dialogue avec son lecteur, tandis que Claude Lanzmann, dans Shoah, incarne une instance d’écoute active et médiatrice qui sert d’étayage à la parole du témoin et lui permet parfois d’advenir. Dans le cadre d’une mort de masse et d’une non-séparation, le survivant semble accueillir en lui l’englouti ou poursuivre un dialogue avec ses morts. Dans certains témoignages, entre symptômes et thèmes littéraires, les phénomènes d’incorporation, les reflets spéculaires, la présence de doubles, apparaissent comme la traduction dans l’écriture d’un deuil impossible. Pourtant, c’est aussi parfois dans et par l’écriture que le témoin-survivant peut se séparer de ses morts. |

| Summary, etc. | A testimony always involves two people. And few texts require with the same urgency the listening and the physical or symbolic presence of the other, the contemporary other, whether listener or reader, who is also the representative of the human other who was absent at the time of the ordeal. Hence the necessity of renewing the link, which Primo Levi translates by the interpellation, the address and the dialogue with his reader, while Claude Lanzmann, in Shoah, embodies an instance of active and mediating listening that serves as a support for what the witness says and sometimes permits him to come into being. In the context of mass death and non-separation, the survivor seems to take engulfment into himself or pursue a dialogue with his dead. In certain testimonies, between symptoms and literary themes, the phenomena of incorporation, specular reflections and the presence of doubles seem to be the translation in writing of an impossible mourning. And yet it is also sometimes in and through writing that the witness/survivor is able to separate himself from his dead. |

Y muy pocos textos exigen con tanta urgencia la escucha, la presencia física o simbólica del otro, contemporáneo, auditor o lector, que es también el representante del otro humano que falló en el momento de la prueba. De ahí la necesidad de reanudar el vínculo, lo que Primo Levi traduce por la interpelación, la solicitación y el diálogo con el lector, mientras que Claude Lanzmann, en Shoah, encarna una instancia de escucha activa y mediadora que sirve como apoyo a la palabra del testigo y a veces le permite advenir. En el contexto de una muerte de colectiva y de una imposible separación, el sobreviviente parece acoger en sí al nundido o continuar el diálogo con sus muertos. En algunos testimonios, entre síntomas y temas literarios, los fenómenos de incorporación, los reflejos especulares, la presencia de dobles aparecen como la traducción en la escritura de un duelo imposible.
